Nuyorican 2nite - Domaine Wine Bar LIC tomorrow - Celebrate Brooklyn @ Prospect Park Saturday

Greetings.   Things are afoot!  Hmmm.  Surreal, man.

Tonight I'll be bringing my latin jazz trombone to the Nuyorican Poets Cafe(3rd St btwn B and C) to play with Willie Martinez La Familia Sextet and The La Familia Sextetat 9:30. $10 cover. This is an awesome band in an awesome space. You will be glad you came, as places like this and nights like this are not in big supply any more in dear old New York.

Tomorrow you'll find me at my little home close to home at Domaine Bar a Vins in LIC.  I'll be joined by Matt Ray and Jim Whitney for a swinging mellow good musical vibe to accompany your wine and cheese. 

Saturday I'll be playing Celebrate Brooklyn, joining the incredible Taylor Mac and a veritable host of musicians (including the afore mentioned Matt Ray) at the Prospect Park Bandshell for Taylor Mac: The 20th Century Abridged. Special guests include The Brooklyn United Marching band, a gaggle of burlesque dancers, and more.  Recommended for mature audiences.
