Garage Friday - LIC Bar Sunday - another trip 'round the sun

Greetings.  Alas, the approaching summer solstice (June 21) shall mark my 44th trip around the sun.  If you would like to join me in celebrating, you have two choices, one on either side of said solstice...

On Friday, you can see the younger, wilder, and crazier me as I play gin-swilling dixieland in the wee hours of the night at
Garage in Greenwich Village with Kevin Dorn's Big 72.  It's a kooky scene and we play for late night revelers from the completely ridiculous hours of 10:45pm to 2:45 am.

On Sunday, you can see the older, wiser, and more responsible me in my natural habitat (Long Island City) as I lead a band for a show with special guest and co-conspirator
Pat Irwin.  This will be at the totally reasonable hours of 6pm - 8pm, in the outdoor courtyard of the LIC Bar, where kids and dogs welcome.  We'll be playing a lot of stuff I've not done in a while, as well as some of Pat's original music.  This'll be a blast... Tom Beckham on vibes, Jim Whitney on bass, and Andrew Burns on drums.

All the info  for the above mentioned solstice bookends, as well as a look into the time in which the planet's northern semi-axis moves further from the sun, can be found by clicking on the "gig schedule" link to the right, or by clicking here.

Take care!
