Queens Jazz Overground meets Brooklyn Jazz Underground Tuesday Night at Dizzy's

Aw man.  It's late.  Tomorrow is a crazy day, but I wanted to get this email out before I passed out, got up, and subsequently freaked out for all the junk I gotta do.  I won't bore you with it.

I will, however, tell you about Tuesday's gig at Dizzy's which shall prove to be a good time.  A meeting of outer boroughs in the inner borough, as such.  I will be playing with the Queens Jazz Overground as we tag team the stage with the Brooklyn Jazz Underground at Dizzy's at Jazz at Lincoln Center.  QJOG and BJU are both artist-run collectives, striving to enrich and educate our respective areas with jazz.  Sounds dangerous, but it's what we do.  Both bands will play on both sets.  Both bands will be presenting all original material.  I pulled something from one of the cartoons I've worked on and will be bringing it in for us to play.  I get asked to play at JALC, and I bring in cartoon music... go fig.

Also, the holiday season cometh, and as always, I shuddereth in my youknowwhattereth.  The information for the above mentioned show as well as a look into December are listed below.
